The First Lady sheds tears for a girl victim at AFESIP

Phnom Penh: The first lady of Cambodia and President of the Red Cross, Bun Rany Hun Sen, shed’s tears when she heard the president of AFESIP's report about a girl who had been sexually assaulted.

The first lady, despite trying to hold back tears, could not do so when the president of AFESIP mentioned a girl who is currently in a court battle against a sexual abuser.

The incident occurred this morning when the first lady accompanied Prime Minister Hun Sen to visit AFESIP's girl victims as well as the inauguration ceremony on January 1, 2023, of a three-story building that the PM and the first lady built for the organization.
